On Feb. 2 the mascot from Chik-fil-a made a surprise visit at West to promote a fundraiser they were holding that night for Project Grad. The deal was that if any students stopped by Chik-fil-a and mentioned Project Grad in their order, then 15 percent of the income would be donated towards the Seniors special night. There will be many other opportunities around the Lee’s Summit area to support Project Grad until May.
