The Lady Titans basketball team has a new coach, former recruiter for Wichita State and Missouri State Kristy Guffey.
Guffey has taken a place on West’s staff as a physical education teacher as well. With 16 years of experience coaching basketball, Guffey said she was looking for a new challenge, and that was what lead her to choose teaching and coaching at West.
“Of the options, the challenge and how the administration is and the expectations here set it apart,” said Guffey.
