After a year off, the Titan Homecoming Parade returned to West on Wednesday, Oct. 6. The parade persevered through a brief rain, with kids around Lee’s Summit catching sweets from the floats. The Homecoming theme is “Conquer the Cats” as the Titan Football team will face the Blue Springs Wildcats Friday, Oct. 8.

Update: The Westside Girls took first in the float parade wearing ‘Conquering the Cats’ shirts. This is their third win for the best float in the homecoming parade. West Side Stage theater won second for their float, dressed in their costumes for the upcoming play, “She Kills Monsters.” The cheer teams received third place, with varsity seniors dressed up as Disney princesses and junior varsity cheerleaders dressed as knights.
