We have officially entered the spooky season, which means Halloween movies are rolling through the theaters. The television show and movie, “The Addams Family,” has been remade into a sequel this year. This hour and thirty-minute-long comedy is now animated. This movie premiered Friday, Oct. 1. Following the “Adams Family,” a new film was also released on Friday, Oct. 15, called “Halloween Kills.” “Halloween Kills” part of the ongoing 12 part movie series on the main character Michael Myers. Both of these spooky films are being shown at B&B theatres at their Lee’s Summit and Longview locations.

Not only have Halloween movies been getting shown in theatres, but they also have been on streaming apps like Netflix and Disney. With Netflix releasing 12 new haunted shows this October. As well as Disney+ is another way to get into the spirit with any Disney channel original movies ever made being on the app. Disney has a Halloween movie and series section which features movies like “Hocus Pocus,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Halloween Town,” and many more.
