The Titans DoSomething club is doing something by partnering with LSW Football, band, NHS, Student Senate, Girls United, and BSU to collect canned goods for Lee’s Summit Social Services. The canned goods will be collected throughout the week of Oct. 18th and at the gate of the Oct. 22 football game against Lee’s Summit North.
To add a bit of competition, the classes will compete against each other to donate the most in canned goods for LSSS. Senior Ethan Gray, president of Titans DoSomething, said they wanted to help with the campaign because “we saw a need in our community, and we thought that as an organization we could reach out and we can help those in need.”
Canned goods should be given to your advisor for Titans DoSomething to collect them and rally points for your class. If you have questions about what to donate, ask your advisory teacher or Titans DoSomething sponsor Mary Humphreys.
