As we wake up at what feels like the crack of dawn each morning, coffee seems to be the one thing to get us through the day. However, finding the best mug is just as important as the best coffee. Here’s a quick DIY project to help you create the perfect mug!
STEP ONE:
You need 3 things for this project:
- A ceramic coffee mug. You can use any kind of mug, I used one with a lid because I like my coffee on the go.
- Sharpies! As many as you want to create your design (Warning: do not pick light colors because they will fade as you bake your mug!)
- Alcohol wipes/rubbing alcohol
STEP TWO:
Clean your mug with rubbing alcohol to get all residue off! Then find a design you like and start drawing! While you’re doing this, preheat your oven to 450 degrees
STEP THREE:
Place your mug in the oven for 30 minutes at 450 degrees
STEP FOUR:
Let your mug cool and then enjoy! Try to only hand wash your mug so that your design stays on for a long time!
