In Suzanne Smiths Visual Arts classes this week students have taken on-campus field trips to the sidewalk on Ward Road. They were instructed to sketch what they saw and were later asked to paint it with watercolor as well. Some of the students saw the historic white house across the street and decided to do their art on that. The man who owns the house saw what the students where doing and told Smith that he will grant the student with the best painting of his house $50.
