Senior Sawyer harmon practices his lines for his German IV/V class’ short film “Der Nachrichtsprecher”. Harmon plays the lead news anchor in this German parody of the the hit comedy film “Anchorman”. German classes have been writing original scripts and will be filming them for the annual UCM Foreign Film Festival. There are a variety of film genres the students could pick from, including comedy, mystery, sci-fi, and drama. During last year’s festival Harmon’s class won the awards “Best Drama” and “Best Overall German Film”.
