On Feb. 2, exchange students from all around the Kansas City Area came together to experience the Jewish holiday Ramadan. There, students and their host siblings went with families to learn about and experience the holy day first hand. One important aspect of this celebration is family. This is a weekly meal during which all family members are present. This event between the Jewish community and AFS has been going on for over 15 years.
