‘Twas the last week of school, and all through West, not a brain was stirring, it craved rest. With the last hours rounding down, students reflect on their Blue Ribbon achievements and the rewards of working hard.
Freshman Simone Jacoby remembers when the Titan Debate and Forensics took third in their Springfield tournament on January 22nd.
“I was really happy because I did not think my case was that good, but I took fourth as a freshman, anyway” said Jacoby.
Freshman Clara Kinipp said she will always remember fighting with her friends over their OTP’s (One True Pair).
“Johnlock (Sherlock Holmes and John Watson) forever,” said Kinipp.
On the arts side of West, Sophomore Logan Flowers, a member of Titan Pride Marching Band, said he likes to reflect on the previous season.
“My favorite memory of the year was going to UCM for a marching festival. It was great getting to hang out with my friends because in concert season, we are split up.”
Junior Taye Vonderahe said her favorite memory was meeting Emblem3.
“I went on a road trip with my best friends to meet them and to go to their show after and see them in the front row,” said Vonderahe.

“It was fun dressing up with my friends, taking pictures, dancing, and eating before going to prom,” said Smith.
