Throughout West’s girls soccer season they competed against many teams and participated in the annual Pink Out game.

Although the first districts game was a victory against Ray-Pec at 2-1, the season ended with the district championship against LSHS at 4-1. Many said they remain positive for next year.

Girl’s soccer coach Todd Krey said, “a lot of girls worked hard every day at practice.”

“The dedication these ladies have to West and themselves made for a common goal they all strived for.” Krey also said, “the chemistry was pretty good.”

Krey’s expected standouts for next season are Annie Parscale and Baylee Arcuri. “On the younger side, Mackenzie Hill showed some good signs for the future,” said Krey.

The coach also said he hopes to improve on the offensive side of the ball and on the LSW win/loss record. This year LSW achieved 9 wins and 12 losses.

Krey said there is strong motivation to improve for next year from the team.
