On May 19, the Titan boys golf team competed in the State Championship competition.
The championship was held at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau Mo.
Lee’s Summit West competed in Class 4, with a course par of 72.
Sophomores Nelson Searcy and Kerry Maguire were both students who placed in the competition.
Searcy shot a score of 83 and 85 to finish in 45th place overall, and Maguire shot 88 and 86 to finish 62nd.
