This weekend, the Lee’s Summit West’s Repertory Theatre class will be presenting The Spell of Sleeping Beauty in the PAC. The show will play this Fri. and Sat. at 7:30 for $6 at the door or $5 online at westsidestage.com. Come out and join your classmates as the evil witch, Maleficent, attempts to take over the kingdom of Never Nod and ruin Aurora’s 16th birthday, all because she wasn’t invited to her party? Indeed! Also – the Repertoey theatre class has teamed up with Kindness Council this year to help out kids across the nation who are underprivileged, get some books to help expand their horizons! Reach out and read has offered to team up with the show. Bring as many used or unused books to your fifth hour classroom by Friday to win a pizza party and be sure to come out and see the show this weekend.
