Lee’s Summit West journalism appreciates and thanks those brave soldiers who have fought or are currently fighting for our country. We appreciate our right as journalists, protected by the First Amendment, and the many other rights given to us individually as Americans. We realize that these freedoms are only made available to us through the sacrifice of brave men and women.
